Listed Building consent was granted in only 3 months for this 1735 building for wholesale re-development to convert and extend to provide three flats and maisonettes, along with a two storey open plan retail unit. English Heritage were tremendously supportive of the design which included cutting out parts of the shop floor to create a two storey space with a new steel framed staircase.
